Edizione

There was no "1666" edition ever in any format. If you aren't going to date this to 1974, the N.V. version linked above is 1697 and was the first version with this title. Presumably it's what the 1974 edition (which I can't load) was actually using.

The manuscript was datable to immediately after the discussion in January 1665, but that presumably isn't what the 1974 edition was actually providing. The first printed version was in 1672 under a different title as an Italian part of the French Relations de Divers Voyages Curieux, Vol. II, Pt. III. It had been edited by Melchisédech Thévenot and shouldn't be confused with the MS version. If this is from that edition, it should be using Thévenot's title.

The 1697 version was part of Notizie Varie..., had been edited by Jacopo Carlieri, and shouldn't be confused with the MS version.
