Con questa serie di video vogliamo aiutare gli insegnanti a usare i vari progetti Wikimedia in classe, ma anche far conoscere dappertutto le risorse didattiche attualmente esistenti, come l'Education Program Toolkit e varie brochures per insegnanti .

Motivare gli studenti a studiare con Wikipedia non è poi così difficile. In questo video troverai alcune esperienze che sottolinenano l'importanza di usare wikipedia come strumento di apprendimento e perfino qualche trucco per catturare l'interesse degli studenti.

Attualmente wikipedia parla 283 lingue e ne sta incubando delle altre. Dunque la probabilità che gli studenti lavorino nella lingua che conoscono è molto alta. La traduzione può quindi essere l'occasione per mostrare in prima battuta come migliorare le loro competenze linguistiche, ed in seguito, ad un livello più alto, approfondire la conoscenza della materia.
