CandalBot is scheduled to run from [http://tools.wmflabs.org/ WMF Labs] (previously from Toolserver), for interwiki maintenance in ns0, Author, Category namespace.
UPDATE: As of January 2014, interwiki maintenance in ns0 is stopped due to the shutdown of Toolserver, and will not be migrated to Labs.
It uses a modified version of interwiki.py from the pywikipedia framework. On many wikisources, people have the habit of using multiple interwikies (2 or more iw links pointing to the same language), but the standard interwiki.py is built on the assumption that every iw link points to a different language (the list of a page's interwikies is a Python dictionary where the language is the key, so you can't have 2 values for the same key). This modified version checks if a page has some multiple IWs, and then just skips it. So, if you choose to use multiple IWs, please be aware that they '''must be maintained manually!'''
This modified script has been tested and proved to be reliable when running in autonomous mode. If you run a bot and want to join me in this task, I will be happy to send you the script.
For Author, it runs daily starting from the domains which have activated an Author namespace (currently br, ca, cs, da, en, eo, fr, hu, id, it, la, mk, nl, no, pl, pt, sv, vec).
For ns0, it runs daily from it.source and all smaller sources, and weekly from big ones (de, en, es, fr, pt, ru, zh), to reduce the use of system resources.</s>
